Trawling through the many different types of New Forest based accommodation websites, I decided that there is space for something a little different. New Forest Hotel was designed to offer the visitor some carefully chosen hotels in the New Forest National Park. There are some beautiful hotels in the area including: Chewton Glen, Careys Manor, Rhinefield House and the newly created Lime Wood. New-Forest-Hotel.com is still being developed but the plan is to show only the finest New Forest Hotels.

In terms of construction this is as simple as it gets, html5 with very few bells and whistles, but I think on this occasion this is the right way forward.

Welcome to the iFamily, New Forest Hotel!

We have been having a lot of fun working on our latest project: New Forest Bed and Breakfast.net. It is designed, as the name suggests, to help people find great bed and breakfast accommodation in the New Forest, England.

What was most interesting was using Google Street View and Google Maps in the listings. The site is still not even in Beta, but we are really excited where this is going to go.

The site for now, does not use WordPress but we may decide to integrate this in the future. Watch this space.

I love the logo for Jetpack and am loving this new hi’ flying plugin of the same name even more so. Bringing visions of Sean Connery blasting off as Bond in Thunderball attached to his ‘Bell Rocket Belt’, Jetpack is just one more great reason to embrace WordPress. WordPress is Go

It strikes me that WordPress is really coming of age now. It is maturing, like a really fine wine into one slick platform for publishing. WordPress 3.1 has just been released, and has the best name yet for a WordPress version, Django. Named after legendary gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, now there was a man who could swing, and WordPress 3.1 does likewise.
